The Foreign Affairs Office of Xi’an Municipal People’s Government (also known as the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Xi’an Municipal Committee；FAO Xi’an) is a municipal-level government agency entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating Xi’an’s international exchanges and cooperation. Its mission is to serve as a gateway for Xi’an to engage with the world, fostering mutual trust, friendship, and collaboration with foreign governments, international organizations, and global sister cities. Guided by its vision of building Xi’an into an open, inclusive, and globally connected city, the office’s core areas of work include city diplomacy, sister-city partnerships, international conferences, and cultural-educational exchanges.
